Lee Stafford Coco Loco Coconut Spritz

While I can’t stand the taste, I adore the scent of coconuts!

It always remind me of warm, tropical summer days and yummy pina coladas.

You’ll all know by now my love of all things sweet smelling so it’ll come as no surprise to say that I adore the new Lee Stafford Coco Loco range of haircare products, and one in particular.

The Lee Stafford Coconut Spritz (£5.99) has quickly become by absolute favourite haircare product.

This super lightweight spray adds moisture to your hair while detangling, de-frizzing, de fluffing and adding superior shine.

It also smells blinkin’ amazing.

Its marketed as looking like a milk but acting like an oil and I would certainly agree with this.

The great thing about it is because it’s not an oil, you needn’t worry about making your hair greasy and lank by over-applying (though you shouldn’t use too much obviously!).

I’m rubbish at using hair oils as I always put too much on but so far I’ve never had an issue with this spray.

I use it on towel dried hair and spray it liberally through the ends before blow drying.

It definitely makes me hair feel softer and smoother and leaves it smelling absolutely delicious!
Better still at just £5.99 its really affordable too.

You can buy the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Coconut Spritz and the rest of the Coco Loco range from Boots now.

The New This Works Sleep Plus Range

Sleep. Aaah Sleep. As the mum of a toddler and a 4 month old baby, a good nights sleep is something that I can currently only dream of.

How Ironic!

That said, there’s a product that I always turn to to help me get a better nights sleep and that is This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (You can read all about this HERE)

You can then imagine my joy when I discovered that they have extended their sleep range to include a body lotion, a hair elixir and an overnight skin treatment.

Allow me to introduce you to the Sleep Plus Dream Body, Hair Elixir and Trouble Shooter.

This Works Sleep Plus Dream Body (£25) is a deliciously rich yet light body lotion designed to offer an intensive shot of anti-ageing ingredients which not only help restore your skins beauty but help you sleep too.

It features the same calming scent as the pillow spray with lavender, vertivert and camomile but also contains a blend of natural oils, retanol and amino acids.

Together these ingredients offer a fabulously relaxing experience while working hard to reduce the appearance of lines and signs of ageing leaving your skin feeling nourished and beautiful.

Sleep Plus Trouble Shooter (£35) is a 2-in-1 overnight problem solver for your skin.

This lightweight spray is designed to be used on the areas of your body that get most commonly neglected, such as your elbows, knees and upper arms and with regular use can help alleviate signs of ageing, crepeyness and reduce dry patches.

The spray contains a blend of hyaluronic acid, olive extract and allantoin to offer superior hydration while multifruit extracts and prickly pear aid exfoliation and cell renewal. Finally comfrey root and Vitamin E help to soothe and rejuvenate, all while its special scent sends you off into a blissful sleep.

This is my favourite of the three new products thanks to its lightweight yet hardworking formula which is dispensed easily in a quick spritz and is absorbed into your skin quickly leaving it feeling soft and pampered.

Finally we have the Hair Elixir (£25).

This deeply indulgent, anti ageing hair care product enhances the vibrancy of your hair and regenerates your peace of mind at the same time.

This lightweight spray is packed full of hair loving ingredients such as Argan, Jojoba and Baobab oils which are combined with Sunflower extract to deeply nourish follicles and support healthy hair growth. Antioxidant Vitamin E hydrates to leave hair feeling soft, silky and more manageable come the morning.

Simply spritz the spray through the mid lengths of your hair and drift off safe in the knowledge your hair will be beautified over night!
The product is not a styling product so come the morning your hair is left feeling soft and in my experience, more shiny and less knotty but not weighted down with the feeling of product.

I realise that these are fairly pricey and one may not deem an overnight hair treatment as being top of their list of must-have or ‘need’ beauty items, however, the duality of their purposes in both pampering your body/hair and aiding a restful night sleep is something that I think is pretty cool.

Lets be honest, they really do give the saying ‘Beauty Sleep’ a whole new meaning!

Garnier Mythic Oilve Ultimate Blends Body Nourishing Lotion

I get through a LOT of body moisturisers thanks to my super dry skin.

I find it a bit weird as my complexion is oily-combination but the skin on my body and my legs in particular is super dry.

It takes a really good moisturiser to make sure that my skin isn’t left feeling tight, itchy and flaky after bathing and I’m very pleased to say I’ve found a fab new one!

This thick, creamy, non greasy lotion is enriched with a blend of virgin olive oil, renowned for its intensively nourishing and soothing properties.

The Mythic Oil variation is designed for dry skin so the lotion is thicker than I would expect from an ordinary lotion but despite its creaminess it sinks into your skin instantly leaving it feeling soft, smooth and nourished.

It is completely non greasy, doesn’t leave your skin feeling clogged or heavy and it leaves a beautiful, light fragrant scent.

It absolutely did the job on my sensitive, scaly skin and for just £4.49 for a 250ml bottle it’s a fabulous price too.
